It is often said that knowledge serves as a bridge to wisdom a bridge we must build and strengthen for the generations that lie ahead. In this spirit, I am delighted to extend my heartfelt wishes for the launch of the Gunotsav 2025 Portal and App, an initiative that exemplifies Assam's commitment to excellence and equity in education.

Founded on the principles enshrined in the Right to Education Act of 2009, Gunotsav represents a dedicated movement to ensure that every child in Assam receives the quality education they deserve. Since its inception in 2017, Gunotsav has driven remarkable advancements: the percentage of A+ grade schools has surged from 12.35% to 35.75% in 2024, while the prevalence of D grade schools has decreased from 14.54% to 0.81%. These accomplishments not only signal a promising future but also underscore our steadfast commitment to nurturing our youth.

The launch of the Gunotsav 2025 Portal and App marksa pivotal progression in Assam's educational journey, leveraging digital tools to enhance accessibility and inclusivity. This innovative platform will empower students, educators, parents and community members to actively engage in the learning process, cultivating an ecosystem that values both knowledge and character. As Gunotsav continues, it calls upon teachers, parents and community members to embrace their shared responsibility. This spirit of collaboration transforms Gunotsav into a community-driven mission.
